Why?

For safety reasons and for prolonging the lifespan of your wax melts only use 4-hour unscented tealights.
Electric Wax Melt Burners
Electric wax melt burners also come in a variety of wattages. The higher the wattage means that the wax melts melt faster and the shorter they last.

The great advantage to electric burners is that you can use them in places where you can’t use tealight burners because of the open flame. This could include places such as offices and student accommodation, if allowed.
