1. Firstly, What are Wax Melts?
Candles and Wax Melts
Wax Melts are wickless scented chunks of wax that release fragrance when heated. Wax melts do not evaporate like candles do. Instead their fragrance gets burnt off.
This means the more that you use wax melts, the weaker the fragrance becomes. But that isn’t a bad thing as 2 wax melt squares can be remelted 3/4 times before the fragrance disperses.
You simply pop your wax melts into a warmer, use a heat source (electric or tealight) and as the wax melts are heated, they melt and fill your home with beautiful fragrances.
At Soapfullness we only use Soy Wax for our wax melts. Soy Wax provides clean burns, it’s non-toxic, produces strong beautiful scent throws and is long lasting.
Soy Wax is derived from natural resources meaning that it doesn’t produce carcinogens (cancer- causing agents) such as Benzene, which Paraffin waxes can.
Whilst we agree that it is unlikely that Paraffin can have real adverse health affects, we believe that we are exposed to enough toxins on a daily basis and that it is nice to be able to remove these from your environment if you are able too.
At Soapfullness we use Natural waxes in both our candles and wax melts. We want to ensure that you have beautiful candles and wax melts and we believe Soy Wax is the perfect solution for producing beautiful products for your home.
