Typically, you snap two squares off, place them in your wax melt burner and enjoy. Two squares can be remelted 4-5 times (approx.) for up to 4 hours each time, before the fragrance burns off.
It is worth noting that after every burn, the fragrance will slowly become more subtle as it burns off.

The best way to store wax melts is in a cool, dry and dark space.
Soy wax can be susceptible to temperature changes, especially when it is hot. As soy wax melts have a low burning temperature you need to ensure that they are kept at or below room temperature (not too cold though!).
You don’t want your wax melts to get frozen as this could damage the wax and fragrance, which in turn would not give off good scent throws.
At the same time you don’t want your wax melts to melt before you have used them!
Wax melts don’t go out of date, but we do recommend using them within 6 months from purchase to get the best out of them.
However they can still be used even if they have been lying in the cupboard for a year or two!

This is because wax melt burners are not made to withstand long periods of heat. If you do constantly use your wax melt burner, then it is likely it will experience stress fractures and it won’t last as long as it should if you use it correctly.
Always allow you wax melt burner to cool down before reusing.
Once your wax melt burner has cooled down, you can remelt you wax melts up to 5 times (approx..) before the fragrance dies off.
This means that when you ask how long do wax melts last, two squares together can last up to 20 hours.
It is worth noting that the more than you burn your wax melts the softer the fragrance becomes. This is because each time that you use your wax melts, the fragrance burns off.
